Privacy Policy

Evident Interactive B.V. registered in the Netherlands, with Company Registration Number 30138602 and having its registered office address in Nijverheidsweg 16 G 3534 AM Utrecht, is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect about you during the application and recruitment process for employment with Evident, as well as the purposes for which we collect and use that information. Your Candidate Personal Information 


Information We collect From You 

The Candidate Personal Information we collect, use, and maintain (or “process”) can include the following, but is not limited to information that you provide when you apply for a role. This includes information provided through an online job site, via email, in person at interviews and/or by any other method. In particular,  

  • Identification and contact information, including your name, email address, home address, phone number, location, and any other information you provide (such as referrals and references) when you apply to Evident; 
  • Employment and education history, such as your resume or CV, cover letter, details of how you heard about the position you are applying for, education, certifications, job titles, information about any previous employment or other information you provide to us in support of an application and/or the application and recruitment process; 
  • Professional or employment information, including your desired salary or terms related to benefits, willingness to relocate, other job preferences, interview details, reference information and information from publicly available resources (such as your LinkedIn profile or website); 
  • Other information such as any information you voluntarily choose to provide in connection with your job application. 


    How Do We Use the Candidate Personal Information We Collect? 

    • We use the Candidate Personal Information for the following purposes: 
    • Processing your application: To assess your skills, qualifications and interests for employment opportunities with Evident; 
    • To verify the information provided by you or others, including checking your references; 
    • Tracking your application through the recruitment process;  
    • Evaluating you for current and future job opportunities, including matching your skills and interest to applicable job requirement;  
    • Communicating with you throughout the hiring process;  
    • If you are offered a position, to prepare your offer letter; 
    • If you are hired for position, to assist you with the onboarding;  
    • To manage and improve our application and recruitment process (such as making the application process more efficient). 


    With Whom We Share Your Personal Information? 

    We will disclose Candidate personal information to the following types of entities or in the following circumstances (where applicable): 

    • Internally: to other Evident personnel involved in the recruiting and hiring processes; 
    • Service Providers: in order to administer services during the Evident hiring process. These service providers include technology service providers, and employment agencies or recruiters, where applicable; 
    • Legal Compliance: when required to do so by law, regulation, or court order or in response to a request for assistance by the police or other law enforcement agency. 


    Your rights 

    Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have a number of important rights free of charge. Those include the rights to request access or correct your information, request that your information be deleted, or object to or restrict Evident from using it for certain purposes. 

    You can make a request to do so by contacting careers@evident.nl. We will respond to all requests in accordance with applicable data protection laws. 


    For How Long Do We Retain Your Candidate Personal Information? 

    Candidate Personal Information will be stored for two years after your application to comply with our legal obligations. Just before that time, we will contact you and ask for your consent to continue to retain your personal information so that we can consider you for any future job opportunities at Evident. 

    If you are hired for a position at Evident, we will retain the information provided during the application and recruitment process as part of your employee record 


    Changes to this Policy 

    We may occasionally update this Evident Candidate Privacy Policy.
